Our Story

Leading missions trips around the world, we discovered so many talented artisans. We wanted to empower these exceptional women who were struggling to care for their families. But how could we sustain a relationship with so many miles between us?

Then, God called us to Kenya in the summer of 2021. During a trip to minister to the most vulnerable in the country, we met Mama Agnes who rescues girls from childhood marriage and genital mutilation. We knew she was the one we had been hoping for!

Our relationship has evolved into a partnership to help educate and feed girls who are in danger because of the cultural practices of the Maasai tribe.

Mama Agnes and her team (Big Agnes, Eunice, and Anne) tirelessly make jewelry for On The Map Boutique so together we can care for the basic needs of the rescued girls.

Her dream is to open a rescue center that will house 100 girls who will have the chance to thrive in an environment of freedom rather than fear.
